Psalm 100 instructs us to “come into God’s presence with singing”. Making music and singing is simply what the people of God do in God’s presence. It’s how we offer God our praise, and is often a form of prayer. Music touches us in ways that the spoken word cannot, and a song or piece of music can stay with us for some time. Here at Peoples UMC we appreciate the power of music and its ministry.
